New Mexico Society is an independent travel publication produced by Bold Coast Marketing Group. Our current editorial team is not based in New Mexico and does not claim firsthand experience there. We build guides by comparing current information from official park, tribal, transportation, land-management, and local-operator sources, and we show source links and checked dates wherever access, fees, safety, or rules can change.

We are not affiliated with the State of New Mexico or any pueblo, tribe, park, or tourism authority, and we invite stewards and readers to request corrections.

What the checked date on a page means

Every guide carries the date its facts were verified against the sources listed at the foot of the page. It is a statement about when we read those sources, not a promise that nothing has changed since. Operating hours, closures, fees and reservation systems move, sometimes with a day of notice, so the linked source is always the authority.

What we will not publish

We do not write firsthand claims we have not earned, invent counts or ratings, reproduce prices that go stale, or present a photograph as somewhere it is not. Where authoritative sources disagree or do not support a claim, we hold the claim rather than guess, and say so on the page.
